Sara started my August off right with this delightful box of beautiful items from Stitch Fix! From the moment I peeked in the app after the box shipped, I was excited! This box included 5 items that were 100% my style. Bright colors, stripes, and Emers, oh my! For this fix, I asked for knit tops because it has been very hot and humid in Wilmington. I also requested pale pink Emers, if they were in stock. Sara made some wonderful choices for this box and I cannot wait to share the contents!
41 Hawthorn Denly Peplum Knit Top $58
Stitch Fix has sent me lots of beautiful cobalt tops since I started receiving fixes; however, I have not received many peplum tops. This color is always a winner and I LOVE peplum because it can hide your tummy while still giving you a flattering waistline.
I could wear this top on its own, but I think that it makes a better layering piece.
My mind went immediately to the Stitch Fix Ark N Co Pira Drape Blazer Sara sent in Fix #24. I love this blazer and I thought this may offer another way to style this gorgeous piece! I added a pair of white Mavi Gold Reform Popstar jeans, Golden Glitz Tieks, and the Kendra Scott Benning Necklace. I bought these Mavi jeans because I fell in love with the Mavi jeans Sara sent in Fix #23!
I think this pairs nicely because the blazer is short and the peplum detail flares out from underneath. The back view shows how well these pieces compliment one another.
Sadly, this top is just a little too tight and customer service was unable to size up. I will probably sell it, since it was more advantageous price-wise than returning.
Ezra Maud Mixed Material Knit Top $48
I often take my Stitch Fix boxes to work and share what I got with my co-workers. As a result, we have a workplace full of Stitch Fix girls! My boss actually got this shirt in a fix last year and I thought it was adorable! I was really excited to see this in my box and think it will be a perfect knit top for evenings out catching Pokemon. 🙂
I paired this with a pair of Kut from the Kloth Catherine boyfriend jeans and wedges. This makes such a cute, casual outfit!
The back of this shirt is quite sheer, so unfortunately it does require a tank underneath, which makes it no so great for the heat and humidity. It is a cute item and I think it will pair well with tighter fitting pants because it is very long in the back.
Margaret M Emer Straight Leg Printed Pant $98
In one of my last fix notes, Sara asked, “Can a girl have too many Emers?” NO! At least not yet! I am always excited to see Emers in my box and especially in fun colors, like this beautiful mint.
I have yet to send back a pair of full length Emers, so maybe I have an Emer problem! What’s not to love about work pants that feel like yoga pants and come in such beautiful colors?
I paired this shirt with wedges and the Anthropologie Maeve Tiered Lace Tunic. I will be trading this tunic for a larger size, but it was so pretty that I wanted to share. These pants would also be great with the Anthropologie Embroidered Sienna Top in multi. I ordered one for my mom and it was a great match for these pants.
See U Soon Augustin Embroidered Bib Top $64
It is always so much fun to get an item from your Pinterest board! I also feel really special when I am one of the lucky girls who gets to try something Stitch Fix used in their advertisements!
The See U Soon shirt has a light, gauzy material. It is double layered so that you do not need a camisole underneath. I like this feature because it will be cool on the hot summer days we are having right now in Wilmington.
The tank is very cute on its own.
I prefer it layered underneath a navy 41 Hawthorn Benson Blazer with distressed boyfriend jeans and wedges. This Benson blazer is a Stitch Fix favorite. I was lucky enough to score it on the Stitch Fix B/S/T Facebook page, but I would be open to other colors in the future if Sara can find them for me.
Franco Sarto Lariza Ankle Strap Espadrille Wedge $89
These are so cute! I like that they are low wedges and in a neutral color. Also, they keep my toes covered, which makes them fair game for working at the hospital.
You may have noticed that these shoes were used in all of my outfit posts today. I wanted to show their versatility. They were my favorite item in the box! They are comfortable and will easily transition from summer to fall and can be worn casually, to work, and for date night.
Waverley Mae says, “Hallelujah! We’ve needed these shoes!”. I agree. 🙂 I love that they have a slight platform, but are still flats. The style card says they are gold; however, I think they are actually latte based on online photos. If you like these, they are on sale at Lord & Taylor, but the price was lower a few days ago (~$36). Stitch Fix gave me the price match, so I feel like one lucky girl! KEEP!
