My first Stitch Fix of May was a really great one! I had a box brimming with bright colors and fun prints. Sara even managed to send 3 items from my Pinterest board. This is the most items from my Pinterest board that I’ve ever received in one Stitch Fix box, so I was really excited!
Below is a view of the entire box:
Soludos Doreen Spotted Espadrille Flats $109
I had never tried a pair of Soludos and I was so excited when I peeked and these were coming! I really love this dainty leopard print! These were a coveted item on my Pinterest board and I could not find them to purchase outside of Stitch Fix.
Just a couple of notes about sizing and comfort: I typically wear between a size 8.5 and a size 9. My stylist sized me up to a 9, which fit perfectly. Lots of people complain about the jute footbeds of this shoe not being comfortable in online reviews. I live downtown and walk about two miles round trip for dinner and have done this in these shoes several times without having any issues. However, I would not recommend walking in these all day without breaking them in because I could see where the footbed might leave your feet tender (or with blisters) with extended walking. Toms are a little better for extended walking and usually do not require a break-in period for me. Needless to say, I KEPT these adorable shoes!
Renee C Casandra Maxi Dress $78
When I peeked on my Stitch Fix app, I saw that this dress was coming to me in a pretty pink and blue color combination. I was not excited to see it in the lime green, orange, navy, and white combination that arrived in my box. This color combination always seems a little harsh to me, but I still gave it a try and it looked much prettier in person. I paired this with an Anthropologie belt like my stylist suggested and Seychelles gladiator sandals.
I typically wear a size S in maxi dresses, but this one was too big in the bust. I might have requested a size exchange if I had received the correct color, but I was not a big fan of this color combination with my skin tone. RETURNED!
Unpublished Galilee Crochet Overlay Top $54
This was another item on my Pinterest Board and I think it is so cute in person! I love that it can go to work with my Level 99 Faith wide leg pants and pair of Seychelles wedges. It can also work for a casual day on the town with white scalloped shorts and gladiator sandals. KEPT!
Unpublished Jordan Pleated Aline Skirt $58
There will be no rear view of this skirt because it was scandalously short! 🙂 When I put this on, I felt like I was about to go play tennis. Seriously, though, a girl my height (5’8″) would need bloomers under this one! I styled it with a Kate Spade navy top and white Nine West flats.
This is a close-up of the pretty eyelet fabric. If you are petite, this is a really cute skirt. RETURNED!
Skies are Blue Delacour Crochet Inset Top $48
I loved this pretty green top from my Pins! The color is so bright and cheerful. I styled it with my DL1961 Hillary skinny jeans and Seychelles gladiator sandals. It is perfect for work or play! KEPT!
So, overall this box was a 3/5. I really love all 3 items that worked and I know I will get tons of wear out of them. I really appreciated Sara sending items that I pinned! This was a great box!
