For Stitch Fix #27, I asked for a pair of Margaret M pants and a floral or eyelet blazer. Secretly, I was hoping for the Pixley Siene blazer. My stylist, Sara, did her best to meet my request and styled such fun, cohesive fix for me! I really enjoyed trying this fix on and mixing and matching the pieces. When I peeked in the Stitch Fix app and saw the pieces I was getting, I was hoping for a 4/5.
Daniel Rainn Ronan Crochet Detail Blouse $68
When I saw this top on the app, it looked like it had bouquets of brown, dead flowers. The top is better in person (there’s some blue in the bouquets) . I really like the peplum detail and how this top is longer in the back than in the front.
I styled this top with a long, beaded necklace, Payless nude pumps, and a pair of Liverpool Kimberly Pull-On Ponte Bootcut Pants in Dark Chocolate. The pants are not from Stitch Fix, but thanks to this company, I know about how amazing Liverpool pants are and now own several pairs!
This top is listed as being white on the invoice sheet, but it is really a cream with yellow undertones. Yellow and my skin tone are not friends, so this top is not for me. RETURN!
Cut From The Kloth Joleen Knit Dress $118
This dress was really adorable! I love the navy and white stripes and how they are positioned on the waist to provide a slimming effect. I just threw on my yellow Kate Spade shoes and a Rocksbox House of Harlow necklace and let this dress shine. The dress is very thick and high quality material.
The back details are also beautiful. As a I write this post, I’m kind of sad that I returned this dress. I know it was the right call because this was structured to be a work dress and did not quite make it to knee length on me. Sigh! It was not meant to be, but I still think it was fabulous! RETURNED!
Skies are Blue Ingham Embroidery Detail Top $54
This top was a fun, bright green. It was very versatile and I could dress it up or down. I styled it here with the Kendra Scott Cami necklace in ivory mother of pearl, Seychelles gladiator sandals, and Seven jeans shorts.
This top also has a pretty eyelet detail in the back that makes it unique. Check out the outfit below to see how I dressed this top up. KEPT!
Harlan Harllow Eyelet Blazer $128
I requested an eyelet blazer and my stylist sent this fun one by Harlan.
I kept on the Skies are Blue top and gladiator sandals and put on my white Mavi Alexa Gold Reform Popstar jeans (Thanks for introducing me to this brand, Sara!) to create a look with this adorable blazer.
This close-up shows how pretty the fabric is on this blazer. I really, really wanted this item to work. I typically get an XS in Stitch Fix tops and size up to a S in blazers. The S in this blazer fit more like and XS and the sleeves were about 1″ shorter than I prefer. I just could not justify keeping this with fit issues. Sadly, this blazer was RETURNED!
Margaret M Emer Printed Straight Leg Pant $98
I requested a new pair of Margaret M Emers and Sara picked a pair straight from my Pinterest board! I styled these with a white Crown and Ivy top, a pink Margaret Elizabeth necklace, nude Payless pumps, and the Harlan blazer. This outfit is perfect for work. When I wear this outfit, I will substitute the 41 Hawthorn Benson 3/4 sleeve rushed blazer I scored from the Stitch Fix B/S/T and Discussion Facebook group! KEPT!
So, there you can see Stitch Fix #27. It was a 2/5 and I got to try some really fun pieces. If it was not for fit issues with two items, this box would have been a solid 4/5. Lucky for me, I was able to save some money up to shop in Orlando for the conference I attended in early May.
Until the next Fix,
