Stitch Fix is an online styling service that offers members the expertise of a personal stylist to help update their wardrobe. To sign up for a Stitch Fix, you fill out a personal style profile that includes your sizing, style preferences, and clothing budget. Once your profile is complete, a stylist will send 5 pieces of clothing or accessories to your home for you to try out. You are able to keep the items for 3 days and try them out with your clothes, shoes, and accessories before making your final decision. Also, Stitch Fix sends you a styling card with each item depicting how to wear each item two ways: casually or dressed up.
I have been with my stylist, Sara, for a few months now and I continue to be amazed at how well she understands my style! This box was nothing short of wonderful and all of the pieces were keepers! I’m excited to share my experience with all of you. In this box, I asked for coral and mint, white jeans with Tensel, and Margaret M pants. Sara managed to pull all of this off even though I told her not to worry about meeting all my requests. Cheers to Sara for putting together such a fabulous Fix!
1. DL1961 Hillary Skinny Jean in white ($164)
These jeans were the perfect fit and I know they will not lose their form over time because of the Tensel! Lots of white jeans and pants look sloppy because you can see the pocket through the jean. Luckily, these have pockets that are sewn shut! Why aren’t all white pants made this way? These jeans do have black zippers on the legs and a black button that I did not show in my detail shot. I paired them with Jack Rogers flats, a Splendid tee, Alex and Ani bangles, a gold watch, and the Aria necklace by Stella & Dot. KEPT!
2. Romolo Monet Mini Facet Bib Necklace ($38)
I thought this necklace was beautiful and unlike any of the others in my closet. I love how great Sara is at accessorizing my fixes. Sara suggested this necklace to go with the Jace Chevron Print dress you will see later in the post. Together, these pieces look great and I would have never tried them together without the help of my stylist. KEPT!
3. Collective Concepts May Chevron Print Knit Back Top in coral ($54)
I love the chevron pattern and bright coral color of this top. The back of the top is a soft cotton and has a gold zipper that adds a little pizazz. Since the top is designed to be boxy, I paired it with fit and flare denim trousers by Level 99 and a pair of gold wedges. I think this makes a nice casual office look and the Stella & Dot Sanibel Pendant another pop of color. KEPT!
4. Margaret M Emer Textured Tall Straight Leg Pant in colbalt ($98)
These gorgeous pants were my favorite item in the Fix and one of my best Stitch Fix items of all time! The color and print were outstanding and I liked that they were full length rather than cropped because I can wear them year round. I paired them with a White House Black Market black peplum top, Kate Spade polka dot patent leather belt, and Payless black patent leather pumps. This outfit would make a really trendy office look with a blazer or be great for a date night! This outfit makes me incredibly happy! Thank you, Sara! KEPT!
5. 41 Hawthorn Jace Chevron Print Dress
I was so excited to see this dress in my box because it was one of the items from my Pinterest board. It was even better than I’d imagined. The dress is the perfect length, modest enough for the office and cute enough that I cannot wear it to date nights. I paired it with a silver Stella & Dot necklace, nude Payless pumps, a Lily Pulitzer silver flower belt, and a stack of Alex and Ani bangles. I wore it to a continuing education the same night I received my box! I knew instantly that I had found a keeper! KEPT!
So, what do you think about my Fix? I think Sara knocked this one out of the ball park! I had a work conference the week I received this Fix and I immediately packed most of the items to go on the road. The beautiful selections made me feel stylish and confident and I was always proud to tell people who asked that my AMAZING Stitch Fix stylist, Sara, had added these show-stopping pieces to my wardrobe!
