Rocksbox is a jewelry rental subscription service. For $19 per month, you may rent 3 pieces of jewelry at a time and wear it for as long as you desire. When you get tired of a box, return it to RocksBox to switch it out for a new box of jewelry picked by your very own stylist! If you fall in love with an item, you can buy it at an insider’s price that is typically 20% off retail. This box is a great way to try trendy new jewelry without the purchasing commitment.
RocksBox allows you to create an online wish list and become a style insider upon signing up for the service. Your stylist typically sends 1-2 items from your wish list per box and an item chosen to compliment the other pieces. Also, $10 of your $19 styling fee is converted to shine spend and can be applied to the purchase of an item each month. Shine spend does not roll over into the next month.
For my seventh Rocksbox, I requested a neutral Margaret Elizabeth cuff and my stylist came through. I also received a long gold necklace and a pair of Gorjana earrings from my wish list.
So, let’s see Rocksbox #7!
Margaret Elizabeth Ios Bangle in Labradorite ($121 retail, $85 insiders)
I really like the gorgeous labradorite stones in this bracelet because they are a perfect neutral that will pair well with many pieces in my Fall wardrobe. I peeked when my box shipped and when I saw I was getting this cuff, I ordered the matching earrings at a sale on the Margaret Elizabeth website.
These earrings are stunning and I was able to get a good discount! I’m still undecided on the bracelet, but leaning towards keeping this item. I’ve had my Rocksbox for over a week and this is the piece I keep pairing with my outfits.
These statement earrings add instant fun to any outfit. They are perfect for dressing up plain tee shirt or for taking a cocktail dress to the next level. They are long, but extremely light. I don’t think I would wear them enough to justify the price with my current lifestyle, but if I find them on sale, I may buy a pair. These were so much fun to try and if you need some fun, dangly earring, I would highly recommend this pair.
Sophie Harper Long Disc Necklace ($60 retail, $48 insiders)
This long necklace was a piece I did not care for initially. Up close, I disliked the tiny discs because I though they were too flat and shiny. However, when I put it on and looked in the mirror, I decided it is a great statement piece. I think this is the most versatile piece in my box and I could see getting a lot of wear from this item. The verdict is still out as to whether or not it’s a keeper.
