If you have been following my blog, you know about Stitch Fix and how much I love this service. My stylist, Sara, sent a great Fall fix for September that I am eager to share with my readers. If you don’t know about Stitch Fix, I have summed up the service below.
Stitch Fix is an online personal styling service. It is a great way for the busy woman to get fun, stylish clothes delivered to her door each month. To get started, you fill out a personal style survey on their website. It is also helpful to create a Pinterest board with items that you would normally wear or would love to add to your closet. Each month, a stylist will send you five pieces of clothing and accessories for a $20 styling fee. You can try the items on in your own home and see how well they incorporate in your closet. If you keep an item, your $20 styling fee acts as a credit towards your purchase AND if your stylist send you and AMAZING box and you keep it all, you get a 25% discount! I have been doing stitch fix for almost a year. I love the surprise of getting clothing delivered to my door and when I do not like an item, I just slip it into the prepaid mailing envelope and send it back.
It’s hard to believe I’m already to Stitch Fix #18. This month I asked my stylist for jeans and an olive cargo jacket. I also requested Fall items. Sara came through for me and met requests I did not even tell her about! I think my stylist may be able to read my mind…and that is awesome! So, check out the shots of all of my items and we will move along to the review. 🙂
Gorjana Corinna Delicate Bar Necklace in gold $60
I asked my stylist for a pair of wide leg jeans and she sent these instead. Lucky for me, I had this exact jean in mind (flare not wide leg). It’s almost like Sara read my mind! The Level 99 Blossom Flare Jean is very comfortable and made with tensel. Woohoo! I think these jeans will be perfect for our upcoming 70’s theme “Woofstock” event to benefit the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society. The Market & Spruce Sawyer Space Dye Dolman Knit top is directly from my Pinterest board. It is not only comfortable, but flattering and casual. I styled these two pieces together with my Frye Melissa boots, the Gorjana Corinna Delicate Bar necklace, Gorjana Chevron necklace, and Vanessa Mooney Je T’aime necklace. Needless to say, both of these items were: KEPT!
RD Style Jessika Cowl Neck Poncho $68
I did not ask Sara for a poncho, but I’ve wanted one since last Winter! I was so excited to see this beautiful, neutral poncho by RD Style in my box. It looks great over a brown J. Crew turtleneck with Genetic denim, Frye Melissa booties, and a Stella & Dot Necklace. Verdict: KEPT!
Market & Spruce Angelo Cargo Anorak Jacket in Dark Grey $108
Sara came through with another amazing 5/5 box! She really seems to understand my style and this box she was able to pick items I wanted even without clear direction from me. I love every item in this box and was excited to get neutral pieces that will be wardrobe pieces for several years.
