Rocksbox is a jewelry rental subscription service. For $19 per month, you may rent 3 pieces of jewelry at a time and wear it for as long as you desire. When you get tired of a box, return it to RocksBox to switch it out for a new box of jewelry picked by your very own stylist! If you fall in love with an item, you can buy it at an insider’s price that is typically 20% off retail. This box is a great way to try trendy new jewelry without the purchasing commitment.
RocksBox allows you to create an online wish list and become a style insider upon signing up for the service. Your stylist typically sends 1-2 items from your wish list per box and an item chosen to compliment the other pieces. Also, $10 of your $19 styling fee is converted to shine spend and can be applied to the purchase of an item each month. Shine spend does not roll over into the next month.
This is my third box and my stylist did an awesome job! I love all of the pieces and cannot wait to share them with you!
So, let’s talk about the pieces in this box!
1) Slate Marble Triangle Studs (Retail $31, Insiders $24)
Slate is also a brand exclusive to RocksBox. These studs are so pretty and unique! I have really enjoyed wearing them. However, they arrived with badly tarnished backs and some finish chipping off on the sides. I’ve used backs from another pair of earrings when wearing them. I’d like to get a pair, but not these. I emailed customer service with my dilemma and their response was great. They charged my card and I was able to have new pair sent out within a few days!
2) Kendra Scott Rayne Silver Necklace in Slate Cat’s Eye ($80 retail, $64 insiders)
LOVE IT! This is such a beautiful necklace! It looks great with cool colors, pastels, and my silver Alex and Ani bracelets! This one is definitely a keeper!
3) Gorjana Bali Tube Curved Bracelet ($60 retail, $48 insiders)
This bracelet is an item my stylist chose and at first I was afraid it was too dainty. However, I wore it to work and my co-worker mentioned how well it matched a set of necklaces I had picked up on eBay, so I went home and gave the pairing a try. After some debate, I decided I was not ready to part with this bracelet either.
Needless to say, this was my favorite RocksBox so far! If you are interested in signing up for RocksBox, feel free to use my referral code: APRILBFF102. This will allow the first 3 people who use the code to receive their first month free!
